5 Ways to Use TWA’s “Do Not Open Until Eid” Washi Tape

This washi tape may be small, but it’s probably my favorite item from this years Ramadan/Eid collection. Anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE washi tape! I rarely send a note or package without it, and please don’t ask me how many rolls of washi I own :O But Islamic themed washi tape is sooo limited (check out The Pampered Muslimah for some great options). I was looking for some Eid washi tape, and when I couldn’t find any, I decided to design my own! So whether you’re scratching your head saying “what’s washi tape?” or you own more rolls than me, here are 5 ways you can use our Do Not Open Until Eid washi tape. Think of more? Leave them in the comments! I can’t wait to see what you create ๐Ÿ™‚

1. To seal envelopes
This is the number one way I use washi tape. A small strip on the back of the envelope is the perfect way to add a special touch to any card

2. To decorate wrapped gifts
Washi tape is a great alternative to ribbon on a gift. The best part is that you don’t have to worry about being super neat. The “Do Not Open Until Eid” washi design lends itself to any pattern placement (or none in particular). My personal favorite is to to use kraft paper to wrap a gift and washi tape to decorate.

3. To spruce up a  boring gift tag
Need the perfect way to add some Eid cheer to a gift? Add a strip of washi tape to the end of a plain gift tag. I usually grab plain ones from Target, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby when they’re on clearance.

5. To have some quiet time
The night before Eid is crazy, am I right? You have to make sheer khorma, iron clothes, get in some extra ibadah, and get to bed at a decent time in order to get up early the next morning. There’s not a minute to spare on chit chat. So in case you need to remind your other household members, that you have work to do, the TWA Do Not Open Until Eid washi tape can be the perfect solution ๐Ÿ˜›
